Hello and Welcome

Thank you for visiting the Perfect Keyboard Training site.

Here you will be tutored how to set up and run "Perfect Keyboard" the program we use to spam our league addy's, IGGY reminders, tourney rules, and information about upcoming tourneys. The pictures enclosed will help you as a GUIDE as you set up your spam.
THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE DONE ON YOUR OWN, YOUR TRAINING HTD IS TO BE WITH YOU WHEN YOU FIRST SET THIS UP If you have been sent here WITHOUT your training HTD please email toothmakr@wicked8ball.com at once.
Please feel free to ask ANY HTD for assistance if needed.

STEP ONE

CREATE a FOLDER on your "C" drive called POOL. This will be where you work all your TD stuff from. In this POOL folder create 3 SUBFOLDERs, name them PerfectKey, PrintKey, and SCREENSHOTS.

STEP TWO

UNZIP PERFECT KEYBOARD into the "PerfectKey" folder we just created. Once that is unzipped you may DISCARD the zip file OR keep it as I do in case you ever need to re-install the program.

STEP THREE

DOUBLE-CLICK on the SETUP.EXE file in the PerfectKey folder. This will install the program in your computer.
You should now notice the "PK" icon on your TASK BAR near your clock.

It will look like this

STEP FOUR

Now that the program is installed we can begin setting the program up for you to run. PRESS the "PK" button and it will open the program. On the left frame of the PK console CLICK ONCE on the folder labeled "PERFECT KEYBOARD PRO". Then RIGHT MOUSE CLICK on it and it will give you an option box, select "add folder"

then "normal". It will appear like this.

NAME this folder POOL and select OK

VIOLA! You created a Folder to work in! CONGRATS!

Now let's get to work on creating your MACRO's

STEP FIVE

You will see there are three frames. One on the left shows the WORKING FOLDERS. One on the TOP RIGHT shows the programmed macro's (it's BLANK NOW). The bottom left will show you a PREVIEW of the macro when clicked on. In the UPPER RIGHT frame you will now RIGHT MOUSE CLICK and select "add macro item".

This will bring up a box with four tabs at the top. GENERAL, Name this first one LEAGUE.

Click on the SHORTCUT tab and click your mouse in the "KEY SHORTCUT" box. You will now press the F-1 KEY on your keyboard. THIS WILL BRING UP THE HELP SCREEN, simply CLOSE IT. You now see in the shortcut key box it says "F1" like this:

Now you will click on the MACRO tab. In the LARGE blank box COPY this paragraph and PASTE it into the MACRO window

After you have pasted this into your MACRO window move your CURSOR to the last item on the last line of the macro and PRESS ENTER. Your cursor will no be blinking on a BLANK line uner the text you just put in the window and will APPEAR LIKE THIS

Now click on OK and YOU DID IT!! YOU CREATED A MACRO and the window will now look like this:

Now, BEFORE YOU CLOSE the program BE CERTAIN you follow this last step, SAVE YOUR MACROS!
Click on FILE in the upper LEFT corner of the Console window and go to SAVE. IF YOU DO NOT SAVE YOU MAY LOSE ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND HAVE TO REDO THE MACROS BEFORE RUNNING A TOURNEY!

PLEASE NOTE: all macros are written in LOWER CASE so that when you have your CAPS LOCK ON while in the lobby and in "T.D. MODE" your spam will be sent to the lobby in CAPS. If you put your macros in with CAPS and you run CAPS in the lobby it will spam in lower case.
REPEAT the above step using the macro's I have put in here using the other F-KEYS. I use F-1 for league, F-2 for "tourney" spam, F-3 for "rules", and F-4 for my IGGY spam. REMEMBER, no matter what program you are in if you now press those F-KEYS it will play your macro as long as this PROGRAM IS OPEN.
The MACROS may be modified as long as we keep the general format and we DO NOT REMOVE the league address

Be sure you CHANGE the JUMP numner and the TIME each time you crreate a new tourney

RULES - F-3

please remember the no abuse poilice is in affect and will be enforced.
1. all tables are set rated, report winner / loser
2. all tables are set to private - watchers allowed if both players agree!
3. banking on break is a re-rack, if it persits its a dq
4. sink 8 ball on break and reset the game
5. playing non-tourney games in tourney is not encouraged and can result in a dq
6. all decisions by td are final!
7. most of all have fun

I have one additional macro I use... BUX! When you complete a tourney with BUX awarded it's easy to copy from the tourney page and paste into a BUX MACRO so you can run it in the lobby instead of typing them all in, it's faster and of course MORE ACCURATE :)
